A reliable construction product for various types of precast beam connections. BECO® Beam Shoes are used together with COPRA® Anchoring Couplers. The wide product range is suitable for most loading conditions from light to heavy.
BECO® Beam Shoes are connecting items used to create effective, moment-resisting connections between precast concrete columns and precast concrete beams.The Beam Shoes are casted into precast concrete beams, while Anchoring Couplers are casted into columns. On the construction site the beams are erected on corbels, adjusted to the correct positions and fixed to the Anchoring Couplers with the help of threaded bars. The joint between beam and column should be grouted before loading the beam. After grout is hardened, the joint works as reinforced concrete structure.
